Growing older, not smaller.

What we do
We believe getting older should not mean getting smaller. Our centre is a place where seniors stay active, keep learning, and stay connected to the people around them. It is noisier than most people expect. There is exercise, singing, outings and a lot of laughing, and many of our members have been coming for years.
We see seniors as contributors, not only people to be cared for. They lead activities, look out for one another, and give back to the wider community. For those who can no longer make it to the centre, our befrienders visit them at home.

Hosay Live
Hosay Live is a six-week, values-based programme where our seniors explore topics like self-worth and emotional regulation. They are not a passive audience but active participants. Through sharing, games and outings, they internalise these values and endeavour to live them out in their families and communities.

Our Treasure Box
Our Treasure Box is a reminiscence programme led by our seniors. It moves through different topics, from traditions to hobbies, looking at where each one came from and how it works. Along the way, participants remember and share the life stories connected to it. We are especially proud of our senior organisers, who have picked up new skills to run it, from using AI for research to building interactive presentations in Canva and hosting the sessions themselves.

Interest groups
Our interest groups bring members together around something they enjoy, from singing to arts and craft to dance. No experience is needed. It's a chance to get better at something you love, alongside the same friends, session after session.
Who is this for?
Seniors living in and around Joo Seng who want to stay active, meet people and enjoy their days. You do not need to be fit, confident or sociable to start. Many of our members were none of those things on their first day.
