Potong Pasir Community Club was abuzz with energy and enthusiasm as it hosted the much-anticipated Active Aging Carnival, and Neighbour Ring Community Services (NRCS) was right at the heart of the action. With over 31 community partners participating and more than 400 seniors from Potong Pasir in attendance, the event was a celebration of health, wellness, and community spirit.
NRCS had the privilege of being one of only two community partners chosen to run a live workshop during the carnival. The response was overwhelming, with our activity quickly becoming oversubscribed. It was heartening to see the eagerness of the seniors to engage with our workshop, a testament to their thirst for knowledge and fun.
The workshop, led by our dedicated team of volunteers, was a resounding success. We witnessed seniors actively participating, learning, and most importantly, having a great time. It was heartwarming to see smiles on their faces as they immersed themselves in our prepared activities. NRCS truly stood out among our peers, making a lasting impression on everyone present.
Beyond the immediate success of the workshop, this event had a ripple effect on NRCS. It raised our profile among social service partners in Potong Pasir and provided an excellent platform for us to network with other partners from various Social Service Agencies (SSAs) and healthcare organizations. These interactions opened doors to potential collaborations and partnerships, promising a brighter future for community services in the region.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated team of volunteers who made this event possible. Their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm ensured that the workshop ran smoothly and left a lasting impact on the seniors who participated. Your dedication to our cause is truly commendable.
We look forward to more opportunities to serve and engage with our community, making a positive impact on the lives of our seniors of Potong Pasir. Stay tuned for more exciting initiatives from NRCS.
